We are rebranding as Altitude Integrations where we drive people and business outcomes through technology

By Brett

We have very recently changed our name to ALTITUDE INTEGRATIONS.  The change coincides with the higher level of service we now offer and our continued focus to help organizations bring their technology environment to the cloud.  The biggest change that has come with our rebrand is how we approach technology transformations and support for our client’s.  Unlike other IT support firms, we focus on our client’s business first and technology second. By Brett

As many of you have probably already heard, Google is increasing the cost of their G Suite licenses.  By all means it’s not a surprise if you look at everything this platform now offers (see below for a general list).  Basic G Suite will be going from $5/month to $6/month per license, Business G Suite will be going from $10/month to $12/month per license and Enterprise G Suite will continue to be $25/month per license.  These prices will go into effect starting April 2nd, 2019 and will be reflected on April’s invoice. Helping G Suite customers stay secure with new proactive phishing protections and management controls

By Brett

Security tools are only effective at stopping threats if they are deployed and managed at scale, but getting everyone in your organization to adopt these tools ultimately hinges on how easy they are to use. It’s for this reason that G Suite has always aimed to give IT admins simpler ways to manage access, control devices, ensure compliance and keep data secure. Today we announced more than 20 updates to deepen and expand Google Cloud customers’ control over their security. Many of these features will be turned on by default for G Suite so that you can be sure the right protections…

Manage company voicemails with Google Apps

By Brett

If your business is anything like ours, voicemail matters. We’d love to answer every phone call, but sometimes people call during off hours or while we’re on the phone with someone else. Traditional voicemail systems suck, however. Using the phone to access an inbox is a terrible form of human-machine interaction, especially if you’re used to the quickness of email. I don’t want to “press 1 to hear new messages”; I want the messages to appear in front of me. Enter Google Voice. This amazing web app, part of the Google Apps suite of online software, manages our voicemail for…

How to be a Techie Environmentalist

By Brett

The average person buys a new computer once every 3 years.  That same average person buys a new cell phone once every 18 months.  This begs the question:  How can you be a techie environmentalist in our modern world? Here at Altitude Integrations, we have been looking closely at this problem for quite a few years.  Here are a few ways you can do your part to lower your impact on the world’s fastest-growing residential waste stream and hug some virtual trees: Get it fixed:  Things break.  Gravity is quite effective and electronics are delicate.  That’s a dangerous combination.  People…

SaneSolutionsByDru.com, Our Latest Website

By Brett

Working with Dru of SaneSolutionsByDru.com was a real treat. She enjoyed it too. Here’s what she had to say about us: “I recently worked with Justin Pot and Erin O’Brien at Altitude Integrations to create a new website; my current website was outdated and I was unable to make changes to it myself. The new site is fantastic and easy to use BUT the best part of working with Justin and Erin was their attention to detail, enthusiasm for the project and patience with me while I decided what I wanted and pulled all the pieces together. They agreed to…

Case Study: North American Property Services Inc. and Google Apps

By Brett

Altitude Integrations provides business IT support, web site design and computer repair services to clients in Colorado. NAPS was looking to increase the efficiency of their operations as they increased their staff and took on new contracts.  Their existing Windows environment experienced too much downtime for their operations.  They were also looking to move away from the…
